Welcome to Scattered Minds!
I'm Emma, the founder of Scattered Minds, and I'm delighted to welcome you to a space dedicated to mental health and wellbeing. With over a decade of experience in the field, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to support individuals of all ages on their journey to better mental health.
As a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner, I've had the privilege of working closely with children and young people, as well as parents, education staff, and adults, helping them navigate the complexities of their mental wellbeing. My diverse background includes roles in the NHS, education sector, and even within the Police, providing me with a broad perspective on mental health support.
At Scattered Minds, I employ a CBT-informed approach, rooted in evidence-based practices, while also exploring the transformative potential of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Additionally, ongoing learning is reflected in my near completion of Diplomas in Stress Management and Resilience Building, and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, with further qualifications on the horizon.
A particular passion of mine lies in understanding and embracing neurodiversity, recognising the unique strengths and challenges of individuals across the spectrum. I am able to bring my own lived experiences, as well as my professional expertise to better understand, and ensure sessions are tailored to suit you.
I offer 1-1 sessions online, providing flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs and preferences. Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, or your organisation, I'm here to provide compassionate guidance and practical tools to promote mental wellbeing.
Beyond my professional endeavours, I find joy in activities like aerial yoga, immersing myself in a good book, and finding solace by the sea.
Thank you for joining me on this journey towards enhanced mental health and resilience.
Together, let's navigate the twists and turns of life's challenges with courage and compassion.
